Brynly's 5th Birthday at Lake Powell
My little Brynly turned 5!!! I can't believe it! It really seems like yesterday that she came so quickly into our home and it has been a joyful ride ever since!! We love her so much!!!!
She was worried that the balloon fairy wouldn't find her at Lake Powell, but she was so excited to find balloons around her bed when she woke up!! Her first comment was "Mom, I am bigger now because I am five. I think we are going to have to get me some new clothes because look at my arms and legs they are bigger!!"
Her birthday tiara that she so faithfully wore all day except in the water.
Her birthday party with all the kids
Bubbles and sand castles, what else could a kid want on her birthday??
Blowing out her candles in the birthday cobbler.
Birthday tiara thief!!! :) Brynly had a very fun birthday!!! We are so thankful for her and LOVE HER A TON!!!
Lake Powell 2009
We just returned from another fantastic trip to Lake Powell. We alternate years and this year it was with my family. It was smokin' hot, but we found a place that was shaded all day which is almost essential when you are on a houseboat with 35 people!! We didn't take Emry and missed her like crazy but we had so much fun!! Brynly had so much fun with her cousins, in the past Bryn has been the only small child on the boat so Macy and her hardly left each other's side...it was pretty much heaven for Bryn.

Brynly knee boarding...she was SO proud of herself!!!
Bryn trying to ski and getting SO close!
Going down the slide, a little reluctantly.
Making a sand castle
Playing on the rock...they would run down and jump in the water
Trying to ski again
4th of July
Our family went to the parade this year. which is a first for us. Trent and I hadn't been since probably high school. The Murdock's helped us out and showed us the "ropes" of going to the Idaho Falls parade. I didn't realize how many people went to the parade....a LOT!! The girls loved it!!!
