Ijump for Emry's 6th Birthday

Emry got to go to Ijump with two friends.  She chose to have Afton Garren and Rilin Jackson. They LOVED it!!

Emry turns SIX!!!

Today Emry turns six year old! We had church and she gave a talk in primary and then after dinner we had everyone over for cake and ice cream.

 She wanted chocolate cake with marshmellows and sprinkles for her cake so that's exactly what she got!

Remodel Job

We moved into our house 8 1/2 years ago and for that entire time I couldn't wait for this day to come! Our basement was right out of the 70's, shag carpet, paneling, ceiling tiles, dark wood and ugly! We temporarily laid other carpet that was decent over top of the ugly but still, it had little to be desired.  Five years ago we redid a room for Brynly and a bathroom, meaning we gutted it and started from scratch.  Emry moved into that bedroom with Brynly when Lexy was born.  There has been a bedroom in the back that we didn't use because there was no carpet and the window hadn't been framed in and it was paneling too.  We took everything out and started over in there too.  Brynly wanted to have the new room, it is a little smaller but has a HUGE closet.  Emry wasn't a big fan of having her own room, but it is amazing how clean their rooms are now.  We started the week before Christmas and finished January 3rd.  It was HARD work and that is all we did the whole time, but it is so wonderful to have it done now!
