1st Day of Preschool
Brynly went to Robyn's Nest Preschool for the first time Tuesday! She was so excited to go to school. She is very disappointed that she doesn't get to ride the bus and asks everyday if she is almost 5 so she can go to the BIG school and ride the bus. She has now gone twice, and absolutely LOVES it!!! (These aren't the best pictures because we were in a hurry.)

6 Unspectacular Quirks About Me....
My sister Missy tagged me SEVERAL weeks ago and I forgot to do it so here it goes....hummmm there are so many quirks I don't know where to start!
1. I am really grossed out about eating meat off bones. I just think it is weird and un-natural! See I told you I am quirky...
2. I have to have lotion on my hands and feet to go to sleep at night. If my skin is dry I can't relax or something.
3. I have to clean the kitchen while I am cooking, as I go. I can't sit down and eat a meal with a messy kitchen.
4. When I go to the grocery store I like to put all the dairy together, meat together, canned goods together, produce together on the little conveyor belt...that only makes sense doesn't it???
5. I have to have my house totally clean and vacuumed before I leave on vacation, other wise I will just think about it being out of order while I am gone. Plus, if something happens to me I don't want people going into my house thinking I am unorganized. I love coming home to cleanliness.
Are you thinking I am OCD yet??
6. I LOVE to read, but once I start I have a REALLY REALLY hard time stopping. It would be a great afternoon if I could sit down and read a book in 3-4 hours...I love that, but it rarely happens!
So now you know how weird I am!! It seems like lots of people have done this tag so if you haven't...your it!!

Bear Lake
This past weekend we went on our annual Bear Lake camping trip with our friends. We have a fantastic group of friends that we regularly hang out with, we all went to high school together and we all married people from our same class (except for Jeff who is MUCH older heehee)-- so it's very handy. Anyway, we had a great time this year as usual. Bear Lake is so gorgeous... it is nicknamed the "Caribbean of the Rockies" because that is exactly what is looks like. We went with Cameron & Katie Dennett, Ed & Amberlee Murdock, James & Misty Cooper, and Jeff & Mindy Smith and a couple other Humphries siblings Bryce and Katelyn (the Killians were with us in spirit only--we wish you could have come!!). We spent the day on the beach vegging, playing volleyball, wash-shoes, kayaking, water fights, swimming, and just having a fun time together. We are so lucky to have such good friends!!

Happy Anniversary to Us!

Today is our 8th Wedding Anniversary! Trent and I went on our first date September 1995 to Homecoming, Trent was my first date after I turned 16, but we didn't start dating just each other until our senior year. We got married about 2 1/2 months after he returned from his mission...it was a fabulous day! Trent is an amazing man, who is very easy to be married to. I am one lucky girl!

Family Vacation
We just got home from a family vacation, can you call it a family vacation when 1/4 of your family doesn't go? We left this little angel
home with Grandma Sue and my sisters, which was hard but sadly it made the vacation a little more of a vacation. She was spoiled and did very well while we were gone. We left Thursday the 24th and stayed with our friends the Kotters in Salt Lake, and then drove 11 hours to Phoenix to visit Jared, McKenna, and their new baby Anna.

We had so much fun with them. We were bummed that Jared had to work, but we were able to spend most of the time with McKenna and Anna touring the city and enjoying the smokin' hot weather of 110 degrees!! Brynly was fascinated with the cactus
and Trent found his new favorite store-- we had to go there twice!!

Anna is such a doll and is one lucky girl to have such good loving parents!! While we were there the Miller family joined us and the Gardners for pizza and a swim in the pool. The Miller family consists of Adam and Ashlee(Brynly's birthmom) and their two kids Cameron 3, and Patrick 10 months. We had Pizza and tried to cool off in the pool.
We had a fantastic time in Phoenix thanks guys for your hospitality!!
NEXT STOP--- ONE WEEK AT LAKE POWELL
We left Phoenix for Lake Powell on Sunday, it was a four hour drive to Page, Arizona where we spent the week on this
for our yearly Lake Powell trip having a whole lot of fun! We spent the week with our Dabell Family-- Chad, Kathryn, Skyler & Liza Dabell, and Bart and Sheila Davis' Family ( minus Zach & Holly and Josh & Amber who we missed!!) We had a fantastic week of doing nothing but playing!
Trent diving off the slide.
What more could a kid want than floating in the Lake having a sucker...
Catching a catfish...
Riding this...
And hanging out with grandma...
She had so much fun with her new friend Carter!!
They got along so well, it was fun having some one to play with! Brynly was a soooo good the entire time. We couldn't have asked her to be any better. She didn't complain once during the 28 hours of driving except one the way home today when we got to Salt Lake and she said her tummy hurt and then started throwing up...oops! A little car sick maybe???
We had a great time with our family and the Davis Clan, THANKS GUYS!!! After being gone for nine days it is so nice to be home and hug Emry!
