Happy Birthday Trent!

Yesterday was Trent's birthday and we had a lot of fun. He played catch at the church with the girls, then later he and I went to the Bodies Exhibit at the Museum of Idaho...that was cool. Then we had dinner, then had everybody over for cake and ice cream. It was fun spending the entire day with him! The pictures of him actually blowing out the candles of his cake didn't turn out, so this is it! Happy Birthday to a fantastic guy!

Petting Baby Bears

My mom heard on the radio and they had baby bears from Bear World at a carpeting place in town, where you could go pet the baby bears. Mom, Missy, and I took the kids and they thought it was cool. The bears literally looked like a little teddy bears, they were so cute!

Horns!

We had these two really large elk hang out in my grandpa's field , just down from our house, for 3 or so weeks. Trent literally stalked these poor elk. Everyday two or three time a day he would be looking at them with his binoculars, waiting ever so patiently for their antlers to fall off. Well the day came...it was a Sunday morning and Trent practically ran in the door from his 7 a.m. meeting, throwing off his clothes (I have never seen him change SO fast) saying one side of the biggest one fell off. He called Skyler right away and they debated what to do. Trent decided to sneak round the back of the field to the one that fell off and as he did, the elk were spooked and as they ran away the other side fell off. Trent and Skyler were ecstatic, jumping up and down hugging and screaming. It was a really big deal for them, and they are huge!!
