Lexy's 1st Birthday!!!!!!

Our sweet baby turned one! I really can't believe it! Everyone says it, but it's so true that time flies!! She woke up to the balloon fairy surprise...

Great Grandma Dabell came to visit...

We had aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents come to celebrate with us!
Here is her cake... (Note to self: Don't ever try to decorate cakes with cream cheese frosting, it doesn't work!)

-so sweet, cuddly, and happy

-LOVES Brynly, Emry irritates her

-eats everything

-has only been crawling for 7 weeks

-she loves to sleep, since around 3 1/2 months she wants to go to bed around 7 until 7:30 am.

-she is trying to give up having 2 naps a day

-she says mama, dada, baba, papa

-she waves, sticks out her tongue, throws kisses, gives 5, plays peek-a-boo

-she can go up and down the stairs

-she had 8 teeth by the time she was 8 months old

-gives kisses

-TOOK HER FIRST STEPS right before her birthday party started!!

We love Lexy so much and are so thankful to have her in our home!!!

Little Cabin Get-a-Way

Our little family went up to my grandparents cabin for the weekend. It was nice and relaxing! We watched movies, played games, drank hot chocolate by the fire accompanied by some yummy Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins!

These two were lounging at the cabin for the weekend also, they were in absolutely no hurry to get out of the road.

We really enjoyed our time away together!

Emry Starts a Dance and Gymnastics Class

I am not going to lie, I am trying to channel some energy into some thing productive for this little sweetie!

Isn't she so stinkin' cute??? They do a half hour of dance and a half hour of gymnastics and she LOVES it!! After Emry went a couple weeks then Bryn begged to go so she is in the next level, pictures of her to come...

Face Paint and Homecoming

Bryn when to a birthday party for her friend Tatelyn and they had this VERY talented face painter come and do the girls faces, they did their nails, got stick on earrings (Bryn says she NEVER wants her ears pierced...we will see how long that lasts), and then they had a fashion show in their fancy dresses they wore. She had so much fun!
Emry got to go ride on the float with her dad in the Hillcrest Homecoming Parade! She thought is was so cool that she got to throw candy to all the kids!

We have had the horses here for a couple weeks and Trent has taken Bryn on a few rides. She loves it! She feels so grown up on her own horse. Mom is REALLY nervous but they have fun together.

Girls Weekend!

We had a fun girls weekend with my mom, sisters, cousins, aunt, and grandma! We had the priviledge of going to the Relief Society General Broadcast. It was an inspirational meeting! I love these ladies!! Good food, late night talks, games, shopping it was so fun!

Emry Learns to Ride Her Bike!!

Our cute little Emmy learned to ride her bike a few weeks ago but these are the first picture I captured of her doing it!! Way to go Em!!

Palisades

We camped for a week in Palisades! When I told Bryn that is where we were going she said "are there lots of palaces there"? We went with my family which included my parents, Boyd's, and Madsen's...we missed the Gardner's! It was an event filled week!
Two days on the lake, we went to Big Elk Creek and had the Lake to ourselves!

Aiden rolled right into the water and would just lay in the water for quite a while just like this without making a peep!

This is the kids favorite! Bryn like to taunt the driver by making faces, pretend like she is surfing, and tell them to go faster, while Emry and Kyler hold on like their life depends on it!

Aunt Ang took all the little ones an a little but LONG swim from the dock to the shore and back.

Trent told Bryn she had to try skiing at least three times each day we went to the lake. While getting ready for bed one night she asked if we were going to the lake the following day and when I answered "no" she said, "THAT IS SOOOO GREAT!" she was so nervous to try skiing but tried hard every time! When Brady was driving the boat and hit a wave that got Bryn all when she got out and said, "That was SO annoying!" ☺ She makes me laugh!

It was an overcast day and it felt so nice. It is such a gorgeous setting, to sit out in the open in the hot pool in the middle of the forest, it was NICE!

It is hard to see them, but Grandpa Rod, Kyler, Bryn, and Emry climbed to the top of this little "mountain".
